Proceeds from this race will go to support Wendy's Wonderful Kids at the Children's Service Center of Wyoming Valley.

Wendy's Wonderful Kids, a signature program of the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, is making a difference for thousands of children – one child at a time. The Foundation awards grants to public and private adoption agencies to hire adoption professionals who execute aggressive, child-focused recruitment programs targeted exclusively on moving children from foster care into adoptive families. More than 100 Wendy's Wonderful Kids recruiters are working for children in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and throughout Canada and locally, here at the Children's Service Center of Wyoming Valley.

The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption is a national nonprofit public charity dedicated to dramatically increasing the adoptions of the more than 150,000 children waiting in North America's foster care systems. Created by Wendy's® founder, Dave Thomas, who was adopted, the Foundation implements results-driven national signature programs, foster care adoption awareness initiatives and research-based advocacy efforts.
