EVENT DETAILS

Event Starts: 9:30am
Meet at the Martz Amphitheater in Kirby Park (the big shelter by the pond)

Registration: 7:30

Mandatory pre-race meetings 15 minutes before start.

 

COURSE

The 3rd annual Ego Challenge 2013 will be a circuit course on grass, gravel and sand in Kirby Park. It will consist of body-weight exercises. You will be informed of the actual events on the morning of the competition but be prepared for activities such as:

  •   Pushups
  •   Situps
  •   Pullups
  •   Box Jumps
  •   Hill Sprints
  •   Broad Jumps

    You will move from one event to another and repeat the course when finished. You will have one hour to complete as many rounds of on the course as possible.

     

    TIMING AND AWARDS

    You must move in the direction of the circuit. You have one hour. We will start in waves based on ability. Awards include a free month at NEPA Crossfit and gift certificates from local businesses. Proceeds from the event go to Wilkes Barre Racing, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that helps local children in foster care and encourages adoption of local children who have no family.

    REGISTRATION

    Register the morning of the event or mail in form.

    6:45 - 7:15am for military
    7:30 - 9:15 for civilians
